January 8, 2008, 8:00 a.m.. I was on my hospital bed waiting for the nurses to conduct me to the Operating Room for my delivery. I was holding the Lord of Pardon Auntie Meriam gave me earlier that morning. I was nervous, yes. But not so nervous as I was when I gave birth to the first baby few years back-Myka Pearl. On my way to the OR, the nurse sedated me so I could relax. My OB-Gyne had known my distracting reactions.In the OR, I was not as noisy as I were in my first. I just laid my life in the hands of GOD and in confidence with my OB Gyne. I would not want to know anymore about my BP or condition. I just trusted GOD.
January 8, 2009, 8:00 a.m.. I was relaxed. I thanked God because Kismet Ax turned One. In her 0 month to 1 year, she was not all-the-way well. She had been confined twice for pneumonia, and she had been regularly visiting pediatricians and manghihilots. Baby Ax was not quite healthy but thank GOD she was always recovering. For us, she is very fragile.

For us, she is very fragile.
At 12:00 noon of January 8, 2009, we were rushing to buy her Baby Guess orange dress. For a family with meager income, it was quite expensive; But because Nanay would really love to see her wear that dress, she donated a portion of the price so the purchase could push through.
We woke her up at 2:00 p.m. when everyone was ready to go to her party at Jollibee. Everyone, especially Big Sister Myka, was so blithesome. Everyone jumped into our new OLD car with excitement.
When we came there, the Jollibee crew were in charge of everything. They did their job well. Sister Ax was happy, but not very. She had colds that time and she had thrown up before her party ended. It was Big Sister who enjoyed every second of the party.
The other children were happy too that Mamatt would not want to go home in Kiamba until the party finished. Kuya Chekie had a pose with Red(dancer). Our 3 angels-Lola Lilia, Apek and Niña were all-smiles. Lolas, Titas and Titos were there. Cousins were there, except Ate Guy who was upset with me. The 3 Joses of Sienes came late. Party was over when they arrived. We just had them served with food before we left the place. WE had fun with Baby Ax's birthday.
But the party did not end there because January 8 is Uncle Teddy's birthday too. The party continued at Tita Lourdes' apartment. It was oldies party then, sponsored by cousin Tin from Denmark.
January 8, 2009 was a fun day. I just hope Baby Ax enjoyed her special day too.
